Work Experience Program

Get a Taste of the electrical Industry – Hands-On and Real-World
Our Work Experience Program offers high school students a unique opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to the electrical trade. Whether you’re curious about becoming an industrial electrician or exploring a future in engineering, this program provides valuable insight into what a day in the life of a tradesperson or engineer really looks like.
- Real-World Learning: Work alongside experienced professionals on real job sites and projects.
- Team Connection: Meet our team and get a feel for the culture of a professional electrical contracting business.
- Daily Routine: Practice getting up early, arriving on time, and immersing yourself in a hands-on work environment.
- Career Insight: Learn how the electrical trade works from the inside out – from tools and safety to teamwork and technical skills.
- Eligibility: You must be currently attending high school or equivalent (to be covered by workers compensation)
- Target Group: Designed for Year 11 and 12 students.
- Location: Based at our Wacol depot.
- Duration: 1 – 2 weeks (maximum)
- Availability: Dependent on supervision capacity and meaningful work availability. As a contracting company, our workload can be cyclical, so placements are offered when conditions are suitable.
