Typically, an apprenticeship lasts four years. During this time, apprentices complete a combination of on-the-job training and TAFE instruction to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for their trade. The exact duration may vary depending on program requirements, industry standards, and individual progress.
You must be a permanent Australian resident or hold a relevant permanent visa at the time you apply. We do not provide visa sponsorship for apprentice positions.
We do accept applications from candidates who have already commenced an apprenticeship in the same trade they are applying for.
No, our apprenticeship program is a full-time commitment that requires both on-the-job training and classroom instruction. Due to the demanding nature of the program, working an additional job could interfere with your ability to meet performance expectations, attend training sessions, and complete coursework. If you have concerns about financial stability during your apprenticeship, we encourage you to speak with your manager or L&D Coordinator for guidance.
No, all the main tools of the trade will be provided at the start of your apprenticeship, with additional tools supplied in year 3. These tools are essential for your training and work, and the full kit is yours to keep upon completion of the program. However, you are welcome to purchase your own tools to add to your kit if you wish!
