J & P Richardson Industries Pty Ltd actively pursues the major contracts which allow the full range of company skills to be applied. The projects list indicates the scope of work undertaken in recent years.

Major contracts are controlled by a Project Manager specifically allocated to that task. In remote locations, trades staff are usually recruited specifically for the project though supervision is drawn from within our long term staff with proven track records. Major contracts include engineers, planners and cost control staff in the site management team.

J & P Richardson Industries Pty Ltd understands the need to plan work, to plan material deliveries and to maintain a flexible approach to enable an integrated effort with other onsite contractors. For long duration and complex contracts work, planning is via computer based critical path analysis. Site based computers are used to provide ongoing contract information, planning data, material schedules and other relevant information.

Our clients benefit from the detailed scenario analysis we undertake during the design phase to ensure our switchboard, electrical and control systems installations are able to be commissioned in the shortest possible time. We also recognise that the electrical and control package is critical in delivering a project that not only works as specified, but also fulfils the needs identified at project inception. This translates to a focus on delivering a system which not only meets technical criteria but contributes to managing the long term goals of the client.
